Almi Invest is the state-owned Swedish venture investor within the Almi Group and calls itself Sweden's most active startup investor. It manages about SEK 3.5bn through 7 regional funds and a national GreenTech fund, and has backed around 1,000 startups. It invests from pre-seed onwards in tech, industry, life science and sustainability, typically putting SEK 1-4m into a first round (GreenTech: SEK 5-10m), and always invests alongside other investors.
